I have had one bad experience with the Gun Rack but I have isolated that prob being the owner himself. All others have been really good about showing me the guns and explaining things to a newb.

Dunno if that is him but my experience with him left me feeling like I was not worth his time. No one else there has even been that way but twice in one trip he blew me off.

Well I have had bad experiences at Colfax too..most recent was much better but not every time has been good.
I have only been to Powers once though I may be heading back for the CZ 52 they have.

Rick at powers really seems to appreciate your business and if you get to flashing a little cash seems to really deal,

Yeah the CZ 52 is listed at 230 so I hope to either get it for that with tax and a box of ammo or maybe for around 215. Its a pretty good deal at 230 I believe as it has some ammo with it already and a holster and extra mag.
I'm surprised to hear that about The Gun Rack. I've bought several guns there over the past 3 years and never had a bad experience. Matter of fact they've always been really great to me. The older "old" guy in there is not the owner he's just an employee. The owner is Bill and is about 60 years old and either retired or is a former Winston Police Officer.

With all due respect, I have nothing but good to say about the owner of the Gun Rack. Although he is a quiet type at first, the more he realizes you are not in there just to look (we all know the type, "I've got this and that, what do you think its worth") and are interested in buying, he is very helpful and very fair.
Everyone can have a bad experience with anyone, I just wanted to give him his due from my perspective.
