Carolina Shooters Forum is intended to be a fun forum catering primarily to the Carolina weapons enthusiast.

It is intended to be an enjoyable place to visit for people of all ages, races, religions, and ethnic backgrounds.

Some ground rules are necessary and we’d appreciate it you’d keep these in mind when posting here.

Posters who violate these rules will usually be warned, either within the forum, by PM or by email. Members who continually violate the rules risk permanent expulsion. The administrators and moderators are responsible for enforcement of the rules. A poster who makes positive contributions and is a valued member of CSF will receive greater latitude in adjudication than a newer member will.

CSF is a privately owned forum. While you are welcome here, please understand you are a guest and act accordingly.

Here are the rules :

- No flaming. This includes personally directed insults, baiting, name-calling, and general antagonism of a personal or public nature. Posts that are intentionally disrespectful of a CSF member, or deliberately intended to disrupt any peaceful discussion are prohibited.

- No profanity. We have a word censoring feature and use it to a limited degree. Creative use of consonants and symbols, while allowed, does not relieve the profanity restriction. Repeated borderline streams of invective are not encouraged, depending on the topic. Hillary Clinton is an exception, for example.

- Blatant racism and attacks on specific religions, ethnicities, or sexual proclivities is prohibited. Measured discussion of these topics is fine. The rational exchange of ideas concerning relations as they affect our society, culture, and liberty should be factual and not slanted. If you are sensitive and/or biased towards this subject or prone to offense, do not participate in such discussions. This goes both ways. To mark a person or people on the basis of appearance is unwise and irresponsible. To truthfully discuss culture, behavior and proclivity apart from prejudice is acceptable. These posts will be closely monitored.

- Illegal activity or discussion promoting illegal acts is prohibited. Period.

- Any attempts to hack or harm this site, and/or stalk, harass, or harm a member will be dealt with harshly. Situations that are not handled internally will be referred to and pursued by the appropriate law enforcement agency.

- No mass solicitation via the email or pm system is allowed. If you have a service to offer, please do so via the services forum.

- The “Buy, Sell, Trade” forum is open to all, commercial and private. Items for sale must be legal and conform to all federal, state and local laws. All posts regarding items for sale should be posted in the BST forum unless expressly approved by CSF management. Spamming is prohibited.

- Pornography is expressly prohibited. Post it somewhere else. The determination of what is and is not “pornographic” is up to the management, not your personal judgement. If in doubt, contact management offline.

- No pictures or videos in signature lines. Our bandwidth, and cost, is greatly increased by the use of pics and videos. And some of us may actually still have dial-up service. Be thoughtful of others.

- Posting Graphics. Graphics which are linked for viewing within your postings are limited to 800 X 600 pixels with no size limit. Members are responsible for ensuring their graphics follow the rules. Consider the other Members, especially those on dial-up modems and try to keep your graphics within reason. Oversized graphics will be removed without notice. Avatars are limited to 70x70 pixels and 8K in size.

- All profiles must contain your State of Residence under Location.

- POLITICS - For now, we have decided to keep politics off of CSF. There are many sites that allow great political discussion and we feel in the effort to keep this site as friendly as possible political discussion should be limited to gun related (gun laws, ownership) discussion. All threads with a purely political nature will be locked.

These rules are a guideline to the type of behavior expected of our guests. Situations which haven't been addressed will be handled by management and the code may be revised from time to time.
